Electrical Apprentice Responsibilities:

• Learning from the master electrician and completing all assigned duties.
• Identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and assisting with repairs of equipment and electrical faults.
• Traveling out to various public and private spaces to assist the master electrician.
• Interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Updating work logs, client accounts, and managing other administrative duties.
• Ordering replacement parts and equipment as needed.
• Completing electrical installations and performing various maintenance duties.
• Working irregular hours and overtime when required.
• Communicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner at all times.
• Collaborating with construction workers, plumbers, and other crew members.

Electrical Apprentice Requirements:

• A relevant license and certification.
• Practical experience working with electrical systems and equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• A willingness to learn and work overtime when required.
• Ability to handle criticism appropriately.
• A valid driver’s license or reliable transport.

Kehler Electric is looking for a Journeyman Electrician.

Responsibilities Include:

• Carrying standard equipment and parts with you at all times.
• Commuting between the locations at which you will work.
• Performing inspections, conducting assessments.
• Choosing the most apt course of action in light of project constraints.
• Selecting, installing, and preserving the functionality of wires, plugs, panelboards, switchgear, switchboards, and similar.
• Setting up and maintaining electrical machines.
• Monitoring inventory to ensure an adequate stock.
• Logging time and resources spent on each task to calculate costs.
• Ensuring adherence to all relevant safety regulations.
• Providing professional, friendly, and prompt services.

Journeyman Electrician Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a relevant apprenticeship.
• Valid state license that permits you to practice as a journeyman electrician, if required.
• Appropriate certificate or degree will be advantageous.
• Good arithmetic skills.
• Excellent critical thinking skills.
• Observant and thorough.
• An active listener with top-notch verbal and written communication skills.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in constricted areas.

Journeyman Wireman Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Review the blueprints and schematics of the client’s building
• Run wiring from their control panel to outside power lines
• Test the connection and inspect the job for compliance with NEC codes
• Assemble and install control panels when necessary
• Respond to repair or maintenance requests
• Wireman Requirements and Qualifications
• Completion of a wireman apprenticeship
• Valid state license
• Electrician and general construction experience
• Mechanical and blueprint reading skills
• Attention to detail and safety
